At Voicing the Void, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling. Our mission is simple yet profound:’To empower, enable and encourage marginalised groups in society to find and share their story
Empowerment :
:We empower marginalized groups to find their voice and share their stories.
Community Building :
We use storytelling to build stronger, more connected communities.stories.
Advocacy :
We use storytelling to inspire social justice and drive positive change. We support organisations to meet their equality and human rights obligations while designing inclusive, accessible services that reflect the needs and experiences of the communities they serve. Our work helps organisations move beyond compliance towards meaningful, sustainable inclusion.
Community Support Services
Are you navigating a world that often feels like it wasn’t built for you? Do you have a story that needs to be heard, a talent that needs to be seen, or a path forward that needs space to open up?
Voicing the Voice is a community-led organisation creating spaces for people whose voices are often unheard to come together, share experiences and be part of something meaningful. We recognise the specific, often overlooked challenges faced by ethnic minorities, people seeking sanctuary, disabled people, LGBTQ+ communities and young people.
We create welcoming, restorative spaces where participants connect through storytelling, creativity and facilitated dialogue. Our community programmes support confidence, connection and a sense of belonging.
Participation is voluntary, respectful, and shaped by the voices of those involved. This work is not about being “fixed” or spoken for – your voice matters, and it helps shape the work. Our programmes are delivered in partnership, creating space for reflection, learning and collective action.

Sharing your story is a powerful act of healing and strength. We believe everyone has a unique voice, yet many are rarely heard. Our work supports people facing addiction, incarceration, and social marginalization—helping them tell their stories to connect with others, reflect on their journey, and envision a better future.
We create safe, inclusive spaces where people—especially youth—can share their stories, fostering healing, hope, and resilience. Through restorative storytelling, we highlight voices often unheard, helping communities overcome challenges. In response to growing inequality and crises like COVID and the cost of living, we remain committed to connecting and empowering individuals through creativity and shared experience.

Together they shared their story to inspire other young people to use their voice to promote positive mental health; to get out be active and connect with nature again.
