Brief info
I began as an English teacher in Methodist College Belfast and Enniskillen Collegiate school, always involved in the women’s movement. Having joined All Children Together while at university, I finally found my opportunity as founding teacher and governor of Shimna Integrated College, where I taught for twenty five years.
Since retiring, I am a governor of Shimna, of All Children’s Integrated Primary School and Erne Integrated College. I am a former director of NICIE and a current director of the Integrated Education Fund. With a background in literature and commitment to the potential of Integration to empower young people to make change, I joined Voicing the Void, fascinated by the ways that Rory’s work combines story and empowerment.
